Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, Ernest Peter Stokes age 51 years of Deadman's Bay.

Predeceased by his father-in-law Leslie Mouland; and Aunt Jackie Elson.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife of 23 years Loretta; sons Andrew (Kalei), Cody (Georgie) and Dakoda who was also like our son; parents Wesley and Rosalind Stokes; sister Kim(Daniel); brothers Terry, Todd and Ken(Cheryl); Amy, who was more like a sister and her husband Greg; sister in-law Deanne; brother in-law PJ (Cecilia); mother in-law Iona Mouland (Eldon); nephews Aaron, Caleb and Gabriel; nieces Molly, Avery, Madison and Kensleigh; and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

In keeping with Ernest's wishes, cremation will take place. A celebration of life service will take place at The Salvation Army Citadel, Musgrave Harbour on Monday, August 19, 2024 at 2 p. m. with Sarah Bemister officiating.

As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations in Ernest's memory may be made to his family.
