It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, Ernest Stagg age 67 years of Cape Freels, NL.

Predeceased by his parents Guy and Violet Stagg.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Maxine; son Darrell Stagg (Penny) of Newtown; daughter Darlene Hillier (Jason) of Cape Freels; grandchildren Devon (Michelle) of Calgary, Alex of Cape Freels and William of Newtown; step-grandchildren Rikki of Brookfield, Aaliyah of St. John's and Jordan of GrandFalls; brother Claude Stagg (Susan) of Cape Freels; sisters Audrey Cutler (Clifford) of Wareham and Hazel Welcher (Robert) of Valleyfield; and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove.

Visitation to begin on Sunday, February 18, 2024  at 2:30 P.M. - 4 P.M. and 7 P.M. - 9 P.M.

Monday, February 19, 2024 at 2 P.M. - 4 P.M. and 7 P.M. - 9 P.M.

Funeral service will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Lorne Bungay and Rev. Roberta Vincent - Bungay officiating. Interment to follow at The United Cemetery, Cape Freels.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in his memory to The Stagg Family, they will decide at a later date on monetary disbursements.
