It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Dr. Y. K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre, Brookfield, NL, Wilbur Stratton age 78 years of Valleyfiled, NL.

Predeceased by his parents; Llewellyn and Emily Stratton, parents-in-law; Ambrose and Mary Penton and sister-in-law Viola Stratton.

Leaving to mourn with loving memories are his wife; Lucy, sons; Hudson (Susan), Randy (Holly), Floyd (Sarah), grandchildren; Kyla (Douglas), Amber, Emily (Lucas), Dutch, great granddaughter; Mallory, brothers; Edwin (Winnie), Colin, sister; Daphne (Abe), a very loyal and special friend; Ally 🐶 and a very large circle of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation with take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Friday, November 14, 2025 at 2 P.M. - 4 P.M. & 7 P.M. - 9 P.M. and on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 3 P.M. - 5 P.M. & 7 P.M. - 9 P.M.

Funeral service will take place on Monday, November 17, 2025 at 11 A.M. at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove, NL with Rev. Lorne Bungay and Rev. Roberta Vincent - Bungay officiating. Interment will follow at the United Church Cemetery, Valleyfield, NL.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Wilbur's memory to The Stratton Family, they will decide at a later date on monetary disbursements.
