It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our loved one on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at his residence Eric Llewellyn Abbott age 72 years of Musgrave Harbour. Predeceased by his parents Augustus and Fanny Abbott; sister Daphne Guy; nephew Gregory Mouland and brother-in-law Lloyd Dyke. Left with fond and loving memories are his daughters Sandra Head(Keith) of Upper Coverdale, NB., Erica Spurrell(Johnny) of Musgrave Harbour and Marilyn Abbott(Ryan) of Dover; sons Brent(Kim) of Pound Cove and Chris(Monica) of St. John's; grandchildren Chad, Aaron, Andrew, Ty, Alex and Jackson; sister Marjorie Dyke of Musgrave Harbour; brother Robert(Peggy) of Musgrave Harbour; several nieces and nephews; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted.
Funeral service will take place on Sunday, December 28th at 11 am from St. Luke's United Church in Musgrave Harbour. Interment to follow from St. Luke's United Church Cemetery in Musgrave Harbour.
