It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 surrounded by his loving family, Enos Hounsell age 92 years of Wareham.

Enos "Denny" Hounsell is predeceased by his parents Frederick and Louisa Hounsell. Daughter Pamela Doreen. Sisters Olive Cutler, Lillian Collins and Ethel Hunt. Brothers-in-law George Cutler, Frederick Bown, Stanley Collins, Felix Hunt, Clarence Firmage, David Firmage, Adam Firmage and Heldrey Parsons and sister-in-law Elizabeth Parsons.

Left to mourn wife of sixty years Florence. Sons Carson (Joann), Sitnah (Sueann) and Victor Deon. Daughter Peggy (Richard). Grandsons Justin (Erica) and Steven (Kiara). Granddaughters Jennifer (Jordan), Heather (Corey), Rebecca (Matt) and Sara (Aaron). Great grandchildren Trent, Gavin, Nora, Charlotte, Lawrence, Colton, Carter, Coby, Callie, Kayden, Harper, Hailey and Archie. Brother and sister-in-law Garfield and Honor. Sisters Wilhelmina and Nellie. Sisters-in-law Eliza and Evelyn and a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place.

Celebration of life to take place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, 1pm to 4pm at Wareham Parish Hall, Wareham. All are welcome.

As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Hounsell family, who will decide on monetary disbursements at a later date.
