It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone you love and cherish. Family and friends say, "not goodbye" but "see you later" to their beloved Emma Alice Collins of Aspen Cove, NL.

Emma passed away peacefully at the great age of 80 years at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on October 10th, 2024.

Emma was predeceased by her parents Edna and Dorman Stratton, her sister Blanch and grandson Bradley.

She is survived by her children Roxanne (Mike), Bryon and Sonya; her grandchildren Travis (Jenny), Kayla (Justin) and Emily; her great-grandchildren Karson, Carter, Cale, Christopher and Colton; her brothers Garland (Louise), Clayton (Beverley), Lester (Maxine) and Westley (Natalie). She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Emma will be remembered by her sense of humor, the love she showed all her family and friends, the way she worried about everyone else before herself and how strong willed and independent she was.

"If Emma couldn't fix it, than it wasn't fixable."

Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Wednesday, October 16th, 2024 from 2 - 4 p.m. for family and friends.

Funeral service will take place at The United Church, Aspen Cove on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Beverley Stratton officiating. Interment to follow at The United Church Cemetery, Aspen Cove.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Emma's memory may be made to The United Church Cemetery, Aspen Cove.
