It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Dr. Y. K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre, Brookfield, Elsie Sturge age 94 years of Pound Cove. Predeceased by her parents Charlie and Julia Sturge, husband Lester, infant daughter Ruby, sister Blanche Janes, brothers-in-law Harold Janes and George Pelley and sister-in-law Rita Sturge. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sons Robert (Bernice) of Pound Cove, George (Marie) of Mt. Pearl and Andy (Geraldine) of Badger's Quay, daughter Frances Jones (Lloyd) of Mt. Pearl, brother Charlie Sturge of Mt. Pearl, sister Ethel Pelley of Mt. Pearl, seven grandchildren Peter (Della), Jeanie (Noel), Paul (Angie), Jason (Karen), Steven, David (Ashleigh) and Brittany (Robert), seven great grandchildren Peter Jr. (Kayla), Emma, Rebecca, Nicholas, Meghan, Brady and Zachary and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, March 20 at 11 A.M. at St. Mary's Anglican Church, Pound Cove with Rev. Cindy Graham officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Anglican Church cemetery, Pound Cove. As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to St. Mary's Anglican Church, Pound Cove.
