It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our loved one on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Dr. Y. K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre, Brookfield Eli Elwin Gill age 89 years of Newtown.

Predeceased by his parents; Alexander and Florence Gill, infant son, parents-in-law; Alexander and Mary Jane Perry, brother; Frederick (Belinda), sisters; Eleanor, Laura , Olive (Gordon) and nephew; Fred Rideout.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife; Olive, daughters; Shirley (Scott) of CBS, Millicent (Jim) of Valleyfield, Pauline (Dwight) of Labrador City, Sharon (Tony) of Kilbride, grandchildren; Mitchell (Jodi), John Adam, Leslie (Adam), Ashley (Johnny) and Stephanie, great-grandchildren; Alexis, Reid, Zoie and Ana, sister; Kate Howell (Len) of Newtown, sister-in-law; Levina Howell (Chesley), brother-in-law; Harold Perry (Daisy), several nieces and nephews.

He will be missed by many other family members and friends.

In keeping with Eli's wishes cremation has taken place. Funeral service will take place at St. Luke's Anglican Church, Newtown on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 2 p.m. with Rev. David Cook officiating.

As an expression of sympathy donations in Eli's memory may be made to St. Luke's Anglican Church, Newtown
