Eileen Gertrude
Tulk
February 22, 1940 – July 26, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, Eileen Gertrude Tulk age 85 years of Aspen Cove, NL.
Eileen was born on February 22, 1940 in Aspen Cove to Cecil and Isabella Faulkner. Eileen had two brothers, Ronald and Harvey and one sister Margaret.
She married Gerald Tulk of Aspen Cove and had three sons ... Wayne, Colin and Perry. One Granddaughter Colleen and two great grandchildren Jackson and Joey and her daughter in law Amy.
Eileen took care of her sick mother at a young age and then her father until his passing, while also constantly looking after all her own family. She worked at home-care taking care of many special needs people and older people. She also cared for her 96 year old friend Leah, who always held and kissed her hand, faithfully. She loved to knit, cook, played the accordion, harmonica and wrote several poems. She became a faithful Jehovah's Witness at a young age and stayed very faithful believing in the strong hope of the promised resurrection and her return to a earthly Paradise where she will reside forever with no sickness, hardships or sadness ever again... until her struggle with dementia became too great. She was then taken in and cared for by her niece Anita Wellon until her passing.
She was predeceased by her husband; Gerald, her two brothers; Ronald and Harvey, and her two sons; Wayne and Colin.
Eileen also had a very wide circle of family and friends whom she loved with all her heart and talked about all the time.
Funeral services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Lumsden, NL on Saturday, August 02, 2025 at 2 P.M. with Mr. Derrick Hillier officiating.
As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to The Tulk Family, they will decide at a later date on monetary disbursements.
