It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our loved one at his residence in Musgrave Harbour on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, Mr. Douglas Wellon in his 58th year . Pre-deceased by his father Arthur, brother Calvin, sister Irene Pinsent, parents-in-law Scott and Doris Abbott, brother-in-law Terry Chaulk and sister-in-law Susan Pike.

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Peggy, mother Rosie Wellon of Ladle Cove, son Kerwin of St. John's, daughter Kylie Mouland(Clay) of Belnan, NS, two brothers Max(Alva) of Ladle Cove and Jim(Thelma) of Red Deer, AB, two sisters Wilena Coles(Oliver) of Gander, and Phyllis Chaulk of Aspen Cove, two brothers-in-law Boyce Pinsent and Alec Abbott(Darlene) both of Musgrave Harbour, two sisters-in-law Dulcie Wellon of Labrador City and Jennifer Abbott of Gander, five grandchildren Aiden, Ryan, Keri, Maryn and Will, a large circle of nephews and nieces and extended family and friends.

Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home in Musgrave Harbour. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, March 19th at 2pm from the Salvation Army Citadel in Musgrave Harbour with Majors Barb and Bill Pearce officiating. Interment to follow from the Salvation Army Cemetery in Musgrave Harbour.
