It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear loved one on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's, Dorcas Ethel Brown age 78 years of Trinity, Bonavista Bay.

Predeceased by her parents Lena and Gordon Ackerman, husband Andrew and sister Edna.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sons Hedley Brown (Rexine) of Indian Bay and Darrell Brown (Sandra) of Centreville, daughters Della Firmage (Wallace) of Trinity, Angela Bursey (Ross) of Dover and Sherry Bursey (Irving) of Dover, brothers Roderick Ackerman (Edna) of Trinity and Gordon Ackerman (Tina) of Paradise, sisters Louise Wiseman of Gander, Shirley Gignac (Robert) of Lewisporte and Bernice Seaward of Gander, grandchildren Danielle, Victoria, Patricia, Crystal, Kayla, Justin, Curtis, Dwayne, Valarie, Corey and Tyler, great grandchildren Lilly, Rebecca, Logan, Xander, Titus, Colby, Henry, Adien, Griffen, Sienna, Layla and Abbie and a large circle of other extended family and friends.

Due to COVID restrictions and recommendations, visitation and funeral service will be by invitation only.

Visitation will be held at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 12 Noon - 4 P.M.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 2 P.M. at St. Alban's Anglican Church, Trinity with Rev. Daphne Parsons officiating. Interment will follow at St. Alban's Anglican Church Cemetery, Trinity.
