It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, Donald Chesley Bemister, age 83 years of Musgrave Harbour.

Predeceased by his parents; Walter and Evelyn Bemister, sisters; Shirley Balhut and Elsie West, brother; Maxwell Bemister, brothers-in-law; Eric West and Carol Balhut and sisters-in-law; Ruth Bemister and Venice Bemister.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife of 56 years, Jean, sons; Paul (Rhoda) of Red Cliff, Grand Falls-Windsor and Leon of Musgrave Harbour, brothers; Sandy (Sarah) of Ragged Harbour and Harris of Ragged Harbour, sister; Betty Chaulk (Dave) of Deadman's Bay, grandchildren; Lucas, Mckenna, Brianna and Toby, great grandchildren; Beckett and Benson and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Musgrave Harbour on Monday, January 13, 2025 from 7 -8 p.m. (Family) & 7 - 9 p.m. (Public); Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 2 - 4 p.m. & 7 - 9 p.m.

Funeral service will take place at The Pentecostal Church, Musgrave Harbour on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Glen Gordon officiating. Interment to follow at The Pentecostal Cemetery, Musgrave Harbour, NL.
