It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear loved one on  Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, Daphne Janes age 77 years of Badger's Quay.

Predeceased by her parents; Richard and Mary Vokey, sisters; Sadie and Lillian Vokey, son-in-law; Ken Roberts and brother-in-law; Harold Smith.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband Charlie; sons Gary Janes (Naida) of Pool's Island and Paul Reid (Vicki) of Didsbury, Alberta, daughters; Bonita Gill (Craig) of CBS, NL., Wanda Davies (Sean) of Didsbury, Alberta, Gloria Roberts of Calgary, Alberta, sisters; Inez Smith of Spaniard's Bay, NL., and Bonnie LeDrew (Calvin) of Spaniard's Bay, NL., grandchildren; Katie Janes, Dylan Janes (Tiffany), Brett Gill, Taylor Gill, Kevin Reid, Ryan Reid, Melissa Roberts, Ileisa Roberts, Courtney Davies, Vincent Woodlock, Cameron Woodlock, great grandchildren; Wyatt Janes, Auralia Reid, Mckenna Kosmack, Willow Kosmack and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

Due to COVID restrictions and recommendations, visitation and funeral service will be by invitation only.

Visitation will be held at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 12:30 P.M. - 4 :30 P.M.

Funeral service will take place on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 11 A.M. at Kittiwake Funeral Home. Pound Cove with Rev. L. Daka officiating . Interment will follow at  the United Church Cemetery, Valleyfield.

As an expression of sympathy , flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Daphne's  memory to the Janes Family and a decision on monetary disbursements will be made at a later date.
