It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Colleen Suzette Anstey, who left this world peacefully on Wednesday, November 5 2025, at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, surrounded by the love of her family.

Colleen will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Glenn of 41 years; Children Crystal(John), Jessica (Jimmy); Grandchildren Jaycee, Caylynn, Griffin and Gracie.  Siblings Isabel (Ellis), Neta(John), Roland (Velma), Ann, Guy(Mary), Roma (Glen), Lisa (Greg), sister-in-law Judy and brother-in-law Bobby. And a large extended family and circle of friends.

Colleen was predeceased by her parents Stanley and Alma Parsons; Siblings Raymond, Margorie, Carrie and Roger. Brothers in-law, Bill and Rod.

Colleen was a sweet and gentle soul whose kindness and love touched everyone who had the blessing of knowing her. Family was the Center of her world. Her greatest joy came from being surrounded by her children and her precious grandchildren, who were truly the light of her life. She found the greatest happiness in the simple things- the beauty of the fall Colors, her flower garden and playing with her grandchildren.
Known for her contagious and radiant smile, Colleen had a way of making everyone feel welcome, special and loved. She was a ray of sunshine.

Her presence left a lasting impression on all who knew her, and her love will continue to live on through the countless lives she touched. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit will remain forever in our hearts.

Visitation will take place at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Centreville on Friday, November 7, 2025 beginning at 2 p.m.

Funeral service will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Maxine Abbott officiating. Interment to follow at The Anglican Cemetery, Centreville.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Colleen's memory may be made to the family. A decision on monetary disbursements will be made at a later date.
