It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the tragic passing of our dear loved one on August 9 , 2016, Clyde (Clydie) Hounsell age 44 years of Pound Cove. Predeceased by grandfathers; Stanley Sturge and Clifton Hounsell, grandmother; Wilhelmina Hounsell, uncles; Caleb and Lewis Hounsell, Clyde Stagg and Jethro Stokes aunts; Edie Hounsell and Joan Vincent. Leaving to mourn with loving and beautiful memories are his spouse; Marilyn, son; Lucas of St. John's, daughter; Megan of Appleton, step-son; Michael Skiffington (Angie) of Paradise, Step-daughter; Sheena (Michael Hawkins) of Oshawa, ON, Sister; Angela (Calvin Kean) of Pound Cove, grandchildren; Nicholas and Callie, parents; Clyde and Linda Hounsell of Pound Cove, niece; Tiffany Kean, nephew; Martin Kean, grandmother; Greta Sturge and a large circle of aunts, uncles, other relatives and many many friends. Funeral service took place on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 2 P.M. at Jubilee United Church, Wesleyville with Rev. Larry Noseworthy officiating, assisted by Rev. Lorne Bungay and Rev. Roberta Vincent-Bungay. Interment followed at the United Church Cemetery, Pound Cove. As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted.
