Clayton Rogers
November 29, 1949 - December 27, 2022

Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL

Clayton was born November 29, 1949 to Beatrice & Alexander Rogers. Clayton was a hard-working, happy-go-lucky man, who loved watching a good game of hockey, especially when the Habs were playing. His work family gave him the nickname 'Happy.'

After years away working, he retired in 2015 to spend more time with his loving wife Grace of 51 years. He cherished every moment he got to spend with his family.

Predeceased by his parents Alexander (Sandy) & Beatrice Rogers, sister Bessie Rogers, grandson Zackary Lane, grandparents Aaron & Catherine Rogers and Henry & Naomi Rogers, parent-in-laws Louis & Pearl Hunt and brothers-in-law Chur Bungay, Alfred Decker & Wesley Parsons.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Grace, son Bradley, daughter Connie (Mike) Lane, granddaughters Cassandra Rogers & Makayla Lane and grandson Nicholas Rogers, brother-in-law Cyril (Ruby) Hunt, sisters-in-law Dorcas Jane Decker & Margaret (Seymour) Parsons, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Public visitation  on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 2 P.M. - 4 P.M. and  7 P.M. - 9 P.M.

Sunday, January 1, 2023 at 2 P.M. - 4 P.M. and 7 P.M. - 9 P.M.

Funeral service will take place on Monday, January 2, 2023 at  11 A.M. at St. Barnabas  Anglican Church, Centreville with Rev. Daphne Parsons officiating. Interment will  follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery, Centreville, NL
