Born on May 10th, 1952 to Sarah Rose and Kenneth Firmage of Wareham, NL, he was one of 17 children. From an early age, Clayt valued hard work. Whether providing for his family or helping a neighbour or friend, he was known as "a jack of all trades," having as many talents as he had passions. He dedicated countless hours to driving with many years spent on the roads of Newfoundland and Labrador, where he was proud to call home, and everywhere in between. Clayt will be remembered for his love of his family and the enjoyment he got from spending time with his grandsons Ryder and Austin. He was most happy when he was having a time – with good company, a good laugh, and simply enjoying life.
