It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Tuesday, July 26th, 2022 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, Clarence William Abbott age 59 years of Musgrave Harbour.

Clarence is predeceased by his parents Clifford and Vida Abbott.

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his brothers Lloyd of Musgrave Harbour and Boyce (Stephanie) of Whiteway; sister Bonnie Roberts (Roger) of St. Paul's River, Quebec; niece Krista; nephews Granfell (Shaunna), Dylan (Robin) and Lucas (Hannah); great-nephew Jalen; great-niece Brynlee; aunt Gertie Hicks; special friend's Cyril Abbott, Wayne and Leone Hicks; and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

Clarence was such a caring, generous and kindhearted man.  He was always there to help anybody in anyway he could.  He loved trouting, going in the woods and having boil up's.  He was a real handyman when it came to carpentry and woodwork.  He had a great sense of humor and loved a good laugh.  Both him and Lloyd loved their trips coming to Whiteway to spend what quality time he could with Dylan and Lucas.  He extended that kindness to Stephanie's nieces, Mya and Maci.  He always had a treat for them when he came to Whiteway to visit.  They also thought the world over him.  He was so excited to meet his great nephew Jalen, he thought the world over him.  His great niece Brynlee was just born and he never gotten the opportunity to meet her.  Given his love for children, she would of held a special place in his heart as well.  He will be forever loved, missed and remembered by his family and friends.

As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers donations in Clarence's memory may be made to the family.

At Clarence's request, cremation has taken place.  Burial will take place at a later date.
