Passed peacefully away, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, Nov. 5, aged 100 years.
Pre-deceased by her husband, Noah (1989) son, Lorne (2008) parents Elizabeth & Thomas Saunders as well as sisters Lena,
Mabel, Hattie & Amelia and brothers Maxwell & William.
Deeply loved & cherished by daughters Grace White, Loretta Jenkins (Herb) Rowena Murphy (Peter) of Mount Pearl, Audrey Butler (Walter) of Ottawa, son David (Lorraine) of Greenspond, brother Gordon Saunders (Devere) of Kitchener, ON and daughter-in-law Connie Burry of Fayetteville, N.C. Also leaving with precious memories, 15 grandchildren & 17 great-grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.
Special thanks to the staff at St. Luke's Homes, especially the staff of Trinity Square & Inglewood for their care & compassion during her stay there.
Visitation to take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Wesleyville from 11am to 1 pm on Wednesday, Nov. 9 followed by the funeral service at 2pm. Interment at Greenspond Interfaith Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Luke's Homes, St. John's or to a charity of your choice.
