It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Christine Celeste Firmage who passed away peacefully at her home in Wesleyville on October 28, 2026 at the age of 63. 

Christine was born in Brookfield to Gladys and Brian Winsor on May 29, 1963.

Predeceased by her parents Gladys and Brian, grandparents Violet and Percy Best and brother Robbie Vivian.

Christine was a very quiet, loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and sister. She is described by her family as being grateful, loving, quiet but a strong soul, selfless, relentless, giving, resilient and an angel with a big heart. She's been referred to as Marguerite most of her life ( brother Percy's name for her). Most would say she was a real clean freak. Anyone who knows her knew she always had a mop bucket and cleaning cloth going all the time.

Christine spent the last 35 plus years with her husband Dwight. They share two sons, Robbie and Shane. She leaves to mourn her stepfather Len Vivian, sisters Barbara, Lillian (Wallace), Eliza (Michael), and Wendy (Bill) and brothers Nelson (Carol), Percy (Linda) and Claude (Jennifer). As well as her grandchildren Hunter, Logan, Alexa, Natalie, Cassandra and Sabastian. Her grandkids were her pride and joy whom she loved dearly. She also leaves behind a large number of nieces and nephews, a large number of friends and her special friend Tracy Hounsell.

Her greatest love will be left through the people she loved and who loved her in return. Though her absence will leave an enormous hole in our hearts, the memories we share will live on forever in our memories and in our hearts.

Private family time will take place on October 29, 2026 and an open service will be announced at a later date.
