It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loved one on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, Charles (Charlie) Howell age 81 years of Deadman's Bay.

Predeceased by his loving wife of 50 years Shirley Howell, parents George and Josephine Howell, mother and father in-law Edwin and Carrie Chaulk, brother-in-law Ralph Chaulk, sisters Olive Winters, Marjorie Winters, Ellie Hunt, Emma Cooze and Lillian Norris and brother Fred Howell.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his son Brian of Ajax, Ontario, daughter Bonnie Foss (Paul), grandsons Khristian and Jonathan Foss all of Labrador City, brother Horwood (Laura) of St. John's and sister Leah Jefferies of Lewisporte and also a large circle of family and friends.

As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to The Howell Family.

Due to the recent advisory regarding the Covid-19, there will be no public visitation. A private funeral service will take place on Friday, August 21, 2020 at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove with Rev. Larry Noseworthy officiating. Interment will follow at the United Church cemetery, Deadman's Bay.
