It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Dr. Y. K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre, Brookfield, Charles James Bourne age 75 years of Trinity.

Charlie is predeceased by his parents; James and Mary Bourne and his brothers; Nathan (Eleanor) Bourne and Frank (Audrey) Bourne. Charlie is survived by his wife; Selina of 50 years, his daughter; Charlene Bourne, his son; Michael (Cindy) Bourne and his granddaughter; Summer Bourne and also extended relatives of the Rogers Family and the Bourne Family. Charlie was a loving father, husband, grandfather and a friend to everyone.

Charlie enjoyed the simple things in life. Whether it be planting his vegetable garden, camping at Duck Lake, sitting around the campfire or playing a game of cards with family.

Charlie had a great love for animals but was best known for his sense of humour. His goal was to always make people laugh wherever he went, even up to the end.

Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove, NL on Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 6 P.M. - 8 P.M. (Family and Friends)

In keeping with Charles wishes, cremation will take place.

Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 2 P.M. at St. Alban's Anglican Church, Trinity with Rev. Daphne Parsons officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date.

Visitation and Funeral Service will be in accordance to COVID-19 recommendations and guidelines.
