It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear loved one on Monday, September 9, 2019 at Dr. Y. K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre, Brookfield, Cecil Eric Stokes age 82 years of Deadman's Bay. Predeceased by parents; Ephriam and Sarah Stokes, Wife; Blanche Stokes, son; Jeffery, granddaughter; Susan, brothers; Peter and Herbert, sisters; Martha, Carrie, Melissa, Eliza and Daisy also A large circle of brother and sisters-in-law . Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons; Beaton (Dawn) of Deadman's Bay, Anthony (Beverly ) of Chance Cove- Arnold's Cove ,daughters; Brenda (Cecil) of St. John's, Sylvia of St. John's, Rose of Gander, Patsy (Marvin) of Deadman's Bay, grandchildren; Rodney, Renee, Christopher, Deon, Wanda-Lee, Pamela, Donald, Sherri, Ashley, Seritha, Ajay, Tyrea, E-Jay, great-grandchildren; Clarissa, Deanra, Matthew, Zoey, Ava, Mason, Logan, Landon, Olivia, Rachel, Brady, Donavon, Sky, Penelope, Isaac, Joshua, Leah, Hunter, Connor, Amber , sister; Vera Stokes and a large circle of other relatives and many friends. Resting at the United Church, Deadman's Bay from where his funeral service will take place on Thursday, September 12 at 2 P.M. with Capts. Tim and Laura Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Deadman's Bay. As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in his memory to The Salvation Army Cemetery Fund, Deadman's Bay.
