It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one Cathy Humphries of Lumsden.

Cathy passed peacefully at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at the age of 58 years surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Barry Humphries.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her very special friend Keith Carter, sons; Lee Humphries (Ginny) and Andrew Humphries (Natasha), parents; Anne and Jack Way, brothers; John Way (Cynthia) and Bernard Way, grandchildren; Teagan Humphries, Liam Humphries, Charlee Humphries and Lacklan Humphries and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

A PRIVATE service of remembrance and celebration of her life will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Lorne Bungay officiating.

Inurnment to follow at The United Church Cemetery, Lumsden.

As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations in Cathy's memory may be made to the family. A decision on monetary disbursements will be made later.
