It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at The Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Sunday, April 15, 2018 Carl Jacob Oakley age 76 years of Brookfield.

Predeceased by his parents: Alban and Leah Oakley, step-mother: Irene Oakley, brother; Ralph, sisters: Esther and Margaret, his dogs (best friends): Rocky, Lucky and Little Jack. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife: Frances (nee Penton), son: Michael (Cathy) of Ontario, brother: Lewis (Beulah) of Wesleyville, sisters: Frances (Jim Cox) of Wesleyville, Nellie (Evan Richards) of Ontario, aunt: Irene Solomon of Ontario, best friend, his dog: Max, special niece: Rosalind and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove from where his funeral will take place on Thursday, April 19, at 2 P.M. with Rev. Daphne Parsons officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made in Carl's memory to the Oakley family.
