Passed peacefully away at Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay on December 22, 2014, William Calvin Barbour age 84 years of Newtown. Predeceased by his parents William and Janet; brother Lindburgh; and granddaughter Gail House. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Doris of Otterbury Manor, Wesleyville; daughter Kay House(Calvin) of Bellburns; grandchildren Vanessa House, Paul House(Tami); great-grandchildren Kayla and Calvin; sister-in-law Mary Beth Barbour of Grand Coulee, SK.; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 2 p.m. from Trinity United Church, Newtown with Rev. Lorne Bungay officiating. Interment to follow at The Barbour Cemetery, Newtown. In lieu of flowers donations in Calvin's memory may be made to The Gander & District S.P.C.A.
