Bernice V. Rideout of Trinity, Bonavista Bay, NL passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on September 20, 2025 at Lakeside Homes, Gander, NL at the age of 84 years.

Son-in-law: Carson Preston.

Visitation will take place at St. Alban's Anglican Church, Trinity
Sunday, (Family only) 7pm - 9pm
Monday, (Public) 2pm - 4pm & 7pm - 9pm
From where the funeral service will take place on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 2pm with Rev. Renee Easton officiating. Interment will follow at St. Alban's Anglican cemetery, Trinity.
As an expression of sympathy and in her memory, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Rideout family, who will decide on monetary disbursements at a later date.
The Rideout family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all who have shown us their love, kindness, and support during this difficult time.
A special thank you to the staff of Lakeside Homes for their exceptional compassion and dedication in caring for our mother over the last 10 years. We are deeply grateful for the comfort and dignity you gave her.
We also wish to express our sincere appreciation to Kittiwake Funeral Homes for their guidance, patience, and professionalism, and to St. Alban's Anglican Church and Rev. Renee Easton for their comforting words and support.
To our extended family, friends, and community, your visits, messages, prayers, flowers, and warm memories have lifted us more than words can say. We are forever thankful.
Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing that mom's life was touched by so many, and her legacy of love and strength will live on through all of us.
