It is with very broken hearts that we announce the passing of our loved one at Dr. Y. K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre, Brookfield, NL on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 Benjamin Leslie Parsons age 81 years of Newtown.

Predeceased by his parents Annie and Llewellyn Parsons; brother Carl Parsons; son Dean Parsons; parents in-law Alice and Cecil Sainsbury.

Leaving to mourn with cherished and loving memories are his wife Louise; daughter in-law Lori Winter of Gander; granddaughters Katelyn Parsons of Paradise and Kiara Parsons of Paradise; brother Daniel Parsons (Audrey); sister in-law Joanne (Janshid) Saleh of San Diego, USA; brothers in-law Lester (Beatrice) Sainsbury of Roddickton and Derrick (Kim) Sainsbury of Newtown; and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

At families request cremation will take place.

Funeral service will take place at St. Luke's Anglican Church, Newtown on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Renee Easton officiating. Inurnment to follow at a later date.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Ben's memory may be made to St. Luke's Anglican Church, Newtown.
