It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at the Dr. Y. K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Center, Brookfield on Friday, September 26, 2025, Beatrice Geraldine Stagg age 84 years of Lumsden, NL.

Predeceased by her parents Clifton and Wilhelmina Hounsell; husband Clyde; daughter Patsy Pye; daughter-in law Edith Hounsell; sister Joan Vincent; brothers Caleb Hounsell and Lewis Hounsell; brothers-in law Cyril Vincent and Jethro Stokes.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sons Glenn (Cathy) of Pound Cove and Ernest (Tracey) of Lumsden; daughter Paulette (Dan Sturge) of Wesleyville; grandchildren Jonathan (Vanessa), Victoria (C.J.), Robyn (Stephen), Mitchell, Tiffany (Jonathan) and Tyler (Hailey); great-grandchildren Hunter, Jaelyn, Rory, Aliah and Bentley; brothers Clifton (Bessie) of St. Catherine's, ON and Clyde (Linda) of Pound Cove; sister Reta Stokes of Deadmam's Bay; son-in law Robert Pye of Paradise; sisters-in law Shirley Hounsell of Pool's Island and Eileen Hounsell of Grand Prairie. AB; and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 from 10 am - 12 noon followed by a graveside service at 2 pm with Mr. Brook Fairless officiating at The Jehovah's Witnesses Cemetery, Lumsden, NL.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Beatrice's memory may be made to the family. A decision on monetary disbursements will be made later.
