It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, Barry George Spurrell age 69 years of Badger's Quay.

Predeceased by his wife Ena; parents Ken and Kate Spurrell; son-in-law Dion King; parents-in-law John and Eleanor Bishop; brother Bruce Cross (Rhoda); sister Florence Piercey; brothers-in-law Carl Norris and Wayne Best.

Leaving to mourn with cherished and loving memories are his daughter Cordale of Badger's Quay; sons Cory (Margaret) of Wesleyville and Chris (Crystal) of Badger's Quay; grandchildren Marcus, Hannah, Sarah, Leah and Charlotte; sisters Joan Norris (Al) of Mt. Pearl, Jean Best of Valleyfield, Christine Kean (Robert) of Badger's Quay and Joy Oldford (Paul) of Indian Bay; brothers Lloyd (Elsie) of Badger's Quay, Earl (Christine) of Pools Island, Brian (Lillian) of Brookfield and Jim (Terry) of St. Phillips; and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Thursday from 7 p.m - 9 p.m. (family); Friday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. & 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. (public).

Funeral service will take place on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 2 p.m. from St. Alban's Anglican Church, Badger's Quay with Rev. Renee Easton officiating, assisted by Rev. Eli Cross. Interment to follow at The Anglican Cemetery, Badger's Quay.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Barry's memory to The Spurrell Family, they will decide later on monetary disbursements .

Wearing of Mask during visitation is not mandatory but  highly recommended
