It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, Barry Hicks age 76 years of Lumsden.

Predeceased by his wife Gertie; parents Eddie and Josephine Hicks; grandparents Hedley and Lavinia Abbott, Alexander and Elizabeth Hicks; brother Clifford Hicks.

Leaving to mourn his passing are his daughters Lindsay Hicks of Corner Brook, Lesley Alexander (Andy) of Corner Brook and Leeann Klein (Chris) of Bonneville, AB.; sons Kevin (June) of St. John's and Dana (Kimberly) of C.B.S.; sisters June Goodyear (Luke) of St. John's and Lorraine Pitts (Keith) of Red Deer, AB.; grandchildren Noah, Andrew, Jonathon, Jacob, Melissa, Shayne, Cody, Holly and Julie; 4 great-grandchildren; nieces Beverly and Kimberly, nephews Keith and Brad; Robert Skinner who cared for Barry for the past number of years; Jeff Gray who was a special friend to Barry; and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

In keeping with Barry's wishes, cremation will take place.
