It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay, NL, Amelia Jane Bragg  age 86 years of Greenspond, NL.

Mellie was born September 9, 1938 to Ena and Harry Burry. On November 17, 1960 she married her high school sweetheart Stuart Bragg. Together they raised two boys, Clyde and Derrick, who were her pride and joy. Then came Grandchildren; Roger, Jason, Kayla and Allison, Great Grandchildren; Kylie, Emily, Nora, Lucas, Nathan and Drew, who brought her much happiness. Mellie was a long time faithful sister of the Anglican Church Women where she was a devoted member for 60+ years.

Mellie is predeceased by husband Stuart, Son Derrick, Parents Ena and Harry Burry, Sister Frances, Sisters- in law; Marie, Stella and Jean and brothers-in-law; Dominic, Peter and Michael

Leaving to mourn; Son Clyde (Diane), Daughter-in-law; Beverley Bragg, Sister; Bernice (Reg) Woodland, Brothers; Don, Saul, Dave Burry, Brother-in-law; Thomas Bragg, Sisters-in-law; Verna, Alice, Doris and Gloria, also a very special life long childhood friend ; Shirley Burry and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove with Public Visitation starting on Wednesday, February 12 at 2 P.M. - 4 P.M. & 7 P.M. - 9 P.M.

Funeral service will take place on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at 11 A.M. at St. Stephan's Anglican Church, Greenspond with Rev. Renee Easton officiating. Interment will follow at The Interfaith Cemetery, Shambler's Cove, Greenspond.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Mellie's memory to The Interfaith Cemetery Fund, Greenspond.
