It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our loved one on Friday, May 13, 2022 at his residence, Alvin Barrow age 75 years of Wesleyville.

Predeceased by his parents; Charlie and Rebecca, brothers; William and Samuel, sisters; Elsie Thoms, Bride Pike and Minnie, infant siblings; Sarah, Leslie, Malcolm and Audrey, brothers-in-law; Paul Thoms, Russell Pike and Harry Sheppard, sister-in-law; Joan Stokes and mother-in-law; Mabel Stokes.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Louise, son; Paul Barrow, daughter; Jillian Barrow (Menon Balakrishnan), step-son; Darrin Brown (Becky), step-daughter; Cherelyn Goodyear (Bas), grandchildren; Alexander, Anjali, Ellil, Aaron, Brandon, Alyssa, Logan, Leah and Liam, brother; Ira Barrow (Amy), brothers-in-law; Earl Stokes (Sue Boone), Leslie Stokes (Wally), Danny Stokes (Margaret), Ernest Stokes (Danette) and Terry Stokes (Tammy), sisters-in-law; Lilly Barrow and Susie Barrow, Verna Sheppard, Pauline Mouland (Morrison) and Kim McLean (Clyde) and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove.

Monday, May 16th, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. (Public)  & 7:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M (Public)

Tuesday May 17th, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. (Public), 7:00 P.M. - 8:30 P.M (Public) and 8:30-9:00 P.M (family).

As per Alvin's request cremation will take place, followed by the funeral service on Thursday, May 19th at 2:00 P.M at the Salvation Army Citadel, New-Wes-Valley with Majors Robert and Cassie Kean officiating.  Inurnment will follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Gambo.
