It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one at Bonnews Lodge, Badger's Quay on Friday, October 12th, 2018 Alice Cook (nee Stockley) age 91 years of Newtown.

Left to mourn are her sons; Rick Cook (Margaret), Terry Cook (Jo-Anne) and Derek Cook. Six grandchildren: Sonya Bulgin, Sherrie Follett, Brian Cook, Gary Cook, T.J. Cook and Heather Salewski, seven great grandchildren: Danielle Bulgin, Dylan Bulgin, Matthew Follett, Tyler Follett, Nikolas Cook, Leo Cook and Skye Cook, sisters-in-law: Florence Allen and Jean Lindahl (Carl), surviving spouses of foster brothers: Mae Vincent and Betty Vincent, son-in-law: Bill Wiseman and also a large circle of nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

Predeceased by: husband Lloyd Cook, daughter Elsie Wiseman, sister Emma Smith, brother Gordon Goodyear, foster brothers Thomas Vincent (Bonnie), Victor Vincent and Allan Vincent.

Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 17, at 2:00 P.M. at Trinity United Church, Newtown with Rev. Larry Noseworthy officiating.  Interment will follow at Trinity United Church Cemetery, Newtown. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers donations may be made in Alice's memory to Trinity United Church, Newtown.
